BRD welcomes Andrea Parson to teach a master class on December 16 at the Firehouse! Andrea Parson studied dance performance at Loyola Marymount University, where she received a BA in dance in 2009. She now lives in Portland, OR, where she currently performs and teaches contemporary dance nationally and internationally with the Northwest Dance Project. In 2010 she received the Princess Grace Award for dance. Andrea has also choreographed original works for NW Dance Project company as well as summer dance intensive students. Since 2014 she has collaborated with costume designer and filmmaker Fuchsia Lin, choreographing and performing original solo works for two dance films Crystals of Transformation, and Future Cosmos Flow. In 2018 she created the Soul Stories Dance Project in co- direction with multimedia artist Susan Banyas in which she created and performed a solo entitled- Amore. soulstoriesdanceproject.com
